This wonderfully made, partially oxidized oolong tea hails from the Shire Highlands, a plateau region in southern Malawi, located east of the Shire River. There, on a third-generation, family-owned farm, our premium oolong is hand plucked by local women. These skilled artisans craft each leaf with delicate care. The leaves are twisted by hand into their characteristic shape. The resulting tea is uniquely earthy and toasty with distinct orange aromas and berry notes.
